After a 4 year sabbatical, the FAST Annual Conference returned on
3rd November 2010 with ‘The Complexity of Change’
a one day event for IT Directors, IT Managers, IT Service
Personnel, Team Leaders, Procurement personnel, Financial Directors
and Managing Directors.
Lord Rupert Redesdale began the day as the keynote
speaker, offering a fascinating insight into climate change and
risk management with his presentation entitled ‘Running your
business on zero carbon’.
This was followed by a range of high calibre speakers who discussed
important industry topics such as: Virtualisation, Counterfeit
Software, Software Asset Management, SaaS, ITIL, Mergers &
Acquisitions, Cyber Security and Green IT.
Peter Hubbard from Pink Elephant was particularly
well received with his presentation; ‘SAM Projects – Making Sense
of the Overwhelming’

Delegates were be able to select sessions from two themes across
the day; ‘The Future of IT’ and ‘Software
Asset Management & Best Practice’
Delegates also had access to an exhibition area including experts
from the industry demonstrating and discussing the latest offerings
on the marketplace.
A complimentary tour of the fantastic venue, Mercedes Benz
World, was available to all delegates after the closing
address.
