depend on risk management and technological innovation.

Matt Barnes, Managing Director at FAST Ltd said he was delighted
with the success of the conference and is looking forward to
planning the FAST Annual Conference in 2011.
“The conference was dedicated to helping end users and FAST
customers understand more about SAM and IT compliance. TCO,
cost control and better management of software are important in
today’s economic environment as we look to drive down costs as well
as make our IT departments more efficient. We were extremely
happy with the uptake at this year’s conference and we’ve had great
feedback so far which will put us in good stead to deliver an even
better conference next year.”
Matt Fisher, Director of the ITAM Division at FrontRange
Solutions added: “We recognise the work that FAST Ltd undertakes to
educate and build awareness of the various challenges that
organisations face around managing their software. We
particularly felt that the conference theme which looks at how our
IT requirements are becoming increasingly complex in today’s fast
paced business world was extremely synergistic to our market and
customer approach.
“Rather than tackling just one issue in isolation, the FAST
Conference looked more holistically at the challenges facing
businesses and the impact this has on software management and
change management as a whole. It tackled the end to end story
of the asset lifecycle, and this mirrored and complimented our
approach to customer requirements.”
Sue Madden, Senior IT Network Compliance Analyst at AMEY Group,
and FAST Ltd customer said she was very impressed by the conference
this year. “The speakers were great and delivered interesting
and informative presentations, that were really relevant to what we
are doing at AMEY Group. It was a really great venue and the whole
event was just run really well. I was definitely
impressed and I’m looking forward to the next one!”
Also in attendance on the day were Express Metrix (Bag sponsor
and exhibitor); and exhibitors Trustmarque Solutions, Licence
Dashboard, LANDesk, Matrix 42, Unipress Software Ltd, IRIS
Accounting and Business Solutions, EARNIE Payroll Software, and C8
Consulting who showcased their products and informed participants
about the trends and latest offerings in the marketplace.
