FAST Ltd Announces Exciting New Developments for 2011
FAST Ltd, a leading UK authority on Software Asset
Management (SAM) and IT Compliance, today announced exciting new
developments that will ensure it stays ahead of the changes in
technology and legislative landscape in
2011.
FAST Ltd is now offering the complete SAM & Licence
compliance package with its updated private standard FSSC-1:2011, and the brand new FAST Software Lifecycle Management Programme
(FSLMP), which covers the requirements for effective lifecycle
management, the core element of SAM best practice.
The new FAST Standard for Software Compliance (FSSC-1:2011),
developed with the assistance of BSI Standards Solutions aims to
modernise the current standard to introduce new technology, such as
SaaS and Virtualisation, and also to offer a supplier and contract
relationship management focus, internally and externally. The
new standard has been developed to ensure it aligns to the ISO
19770-1, ITILv3 and the Microsoft Software Optimisation
Model.

The new FAST Software Lifecycle
Management Programme (FSLMP) provides a step-up solution for
members, covers the core elements of SAM best practice and is
run in conjunction with the existing FAST programme. The FSLMP
delivers effective software lifecycle management, lower cost of
ownership, a return on investment and, most importantly, ensures
complete optimisation of an organisation’s IT
assets.
